Oi... ouch. My head... no, my entire body... Ahri thought. She opened one eye, wincing at the slight pain. Opening the other, she managed to groan and flick her ears rapidly, first left, then right. "ow, ow ow... oi where am I...? Oh no please don't tell me..." she muttered. She began to take in her surroundings, and with her amber eyes wide and worried, she gasped. The room was large, one could say even a little comfy. Except... there was so much darkness. It just seemed to be so evil, so breathtakingly dangerous to be here. It was not a good place for her kind to be, that was for sure. Instantly she knew she had to be right in the heart of Bloodfire city--even worse, the house of Vladimir. So he hadn't killed her... why...?
She looked around the room, taking everything in. The walls were a midnight black with red streaks and specks either painted on or... stained on. It was clearly a design to look like blood spattering. Ahri winced; that couldn't be too good. She looked above her and her hopes plummeted even more. A chandelier was hanging there, pure blood red, giving the appearance that it was dripping blood red light. That was just great. She turned to look at the bed in which she had been laying. It was large and had black sheets, except it had no design or red. It was like an empty void, something that sucked hope away but gave the illusion of a hiding place. Cause hiding under the blankets from a vampire surely works. Ahri thought to herself with a roll of her eyes.
She sat up now, feeling light headed and weak. Perhaps if she could stand... She shakily got to her feet and managed to fall to the ground. Gritting her teeth, she tried a new tactic; the kitsune dragged herself along the floor and looked up at the door handle. So close... she reached for it and tugged... to realize the door was barred. "Just freakin great. I am having amazing luck today!" she muttered sarcastically. She sighed and stood up again, leaping to her bed and landing face first in the sheets and pillows. Not messing up the sheets, she slipped under and tried to pretend to sleep. He was going to come in here and torture her, she knew it. And she had lost... her tail stung as well, and she reached down and pulled the bullet out. Now she had two people wanting her dead... her week was going so amazing she could cry.

Vladimir sat outside of the door, back against the wall right next to it. He could hear movement in the bed, then crawling on the floor. He knew she was awake, and he knew she would try to get out but couldn't. So he waited for Ahri to give up and crawl back to bed. Once she did, Vlad stood up, took a deep breath and walked in slowly. The door was as heavy as a prison cell, even though it didn't seem like it. The door creaked open and there lay Ahri in the bed, looking very weak. Vlad walked up beside the bed, "I could have easily killed you, I could kill you now if I wanted to. But I wont, because we still have much to talk about" Vlad said with a deep voice. Just how is Ahri going to respond to this he thought? Will she try to attack? Even at this state, he knows Ahri cannot go down without a fight.

Ahri didn't move from under the blankets, just sat there with a rather annoyed expression on her face. Finally, she peeked out, ears flat and amber eyes glowing. She didn't look all the menacing... yet, she liked to think she did. She growled slightly and narrowed her eyes, fox tail lashing. All that could be seen was her eyes; remaining hidden was crucial (er, even though it was sorta futile...) "You didn't kill me because you wish to speak...?" came her voice in a growl. It didn't quiver or shake; if she was afraid, it wasn't clear in her voice (though since she didn't come out of hiding really it could be assumed.) "Fine then exactly what do you want to talk about? I thought that it was critical that you slaughtered me like my father killed yours." she snarled. Her amber eyes flashed warily. She was ready to attack if he dared try to come any closer. She knew fully well that she had no chance of survival he he decided to end her now, yet that was no reason to give up. Like a trapped fox, she was ready to fight to her last breath. "Oh, and if you come near me I'll scratch that handsome face right up!" she added in a growl. She realized too late that she had given him a compliment, and blinked. "I mean..." she muttered, now pausing to think. "Uh... oh just say what you need." she finished with a sigh, eyes closed in embarassment. So much for being an evil little captive if she went about complimenting her captor.

Fake fangs, butter on his skin, blood bags, he had the lot. The fangs made him look like a vampire. The butter, well it made him smell non human. And the bloodbags were for bribing they're location. He was near them, he walked upto someone standing in the alley near Vladmir's house. He showed him a picture. "Seen some guy carrying her recently?" He asked, giving the a bloodbag. "There". He pointed to a house and took the bloodbag. Bingo, he's got it#.

Vlad stood there in shock "...handsome?" he said nervously. Did she like Vlad? He cringed at the thought of "love". Love was more of a human thing, vampires had no room for another person to care about. But maybe love is what stopped him from killing her? Vlad went crazy in his mind thinking that, but could it be true? He defended himself by thinking it was because he had to talk to her, not because he loved her. But then again, Vlad didn't know what he would say. He walked into this blindly without a plan.
"Well...I..I'm flattered I guess. You're pretty as well though. Don't get the wrong idea about me for that, just trying to keep this a bit less awkward. Right?" Vlad muttered while blushing blood red. He noticed he had a weird feeling in his stomach, it was an irritating feeling, but it felt good. He wanted to rule out love right away, but it started to seem impossible to.
"Okay, so yes I did want to talk. I wanted to talk about our fathers. It wasn't our fault that the war broke out. It wasn't our fault that our fathers died by each other. So why are we fighting over this? It is true that I did start this, but I regret it. The orphanage I was raised in taught me that the world should live in peace, everybody should stick together instead of killing each other. As a kid I spoke for that, then when I was older I was told the story of my parents, and I was full of anger. That's why I attacked you, I wanted to feel some kind of closure. But as I was fighting, I started to feel sadness again, something I haven't felt in a long time. For a while I ignored it, but then I realized that what I was doing was wrong. You have every right to want to kill me. I won't hurt or kill you, I in fact am planning on letting you go after this. The only thing I want is for our clans to be neutral. I will propose to Bloodfire that we will not fight each other, nor will we help each other. But we cannot kill any more. We will leave you alone, as long as you do too." Vlad said with confidence. This had to work, at least he hoped it would. Maybe this way, he could find a way to see Ahri more, because every time Vlad was around her, he felt calm. He actually felt happy. Vlad stopped fighting it, he realized he was in love.

Ahri flicked her tail, now knowing she was in a really awkward position. She coughed and wondered if perhaps this was the time to pretend she was dead. "Uh... I uh.. no... I mean... yes but I say that kinda stuff all the time. So.. disregard it... or don't... gah!" she muttered. She facepalmed and opened her amber eyes to glare at him under the blanket. "You ruin my ability to think. What is this sorcery?!" she growled, now seeming to be angry.
"And no. Of course I won't get the wrong idea, I despise you." she whispered. She flicked her ear, listening to his story. A long silence seemed to stretch between them before finally she spoke. "Fine... I am willing to ally with you, and not attempt to kill you." she finished, eyes narrowed. She still refused to come out of hiding. "Wait, if alls you wanted to do was talk, why did you almost kill me? and... why did you capture me?" she asked, curious now. What was he hoping to accomplish? He could have just left her there and came back to talk later rather than bringing her in the heart of Bloodfire.
She glanced at him again, and found herself blushing like he was. He could not see it(which was a bonus) and she did not speak in case her voice wavered. She just stared, seeing something in his eyes that she felt as well. However, being the stubborn fox she was, she refused to admit it. At all.
"So... What n--" she cut herself off. Her eyes widened as her ears flicked. Suddenly, she gasped. Her head popped out of the mess of blankets and she fixed her eyes on Vlad, looking very serious.
"You've made a terrible mistake...I forgot... how the hell could I forget?!" she muttered. She put a hand on her head, as if she had a sudden ache. On her cheek appeared a few stitches. It looked as if it had been sliced and loosely stitched up. Her pupils dilated fully. "He is coming... because of you, taking me here, he has awoken. Vlad, you and I both know my dad was no saint... but before the war he created something so terrible, it was long forgotten until now. He had sent it to the underworld, never to be seen again. It would be called only when a family member signaled it to emerge, if another member of the pack was in grave danger. Vanessa must have called him out... We need to get out of here before he finds us..." she stammered, shivering. Her feverish eyes darted back and fourth, as if she were looking for something not there.
Meanwhile, Patchwerk was on his way....

"Patch..werk? Who's that?" Vlad said confused. Who was Patchwerk, and what did she mean that they called him from the underworld? Whatever it was, the way Ahri spoke of him does not seem pleasant.. great. Vlad completely disregarded that fact that him and Ahri had a moment together, one that made Vlad feel surprisingly good. That was at the back of his mind at this moment though, right now he had a bad feeling about this something from the underworld they called Patchwerk.
As he was running with Ahri, he stopped and shouted "Where are we going? And what am I supposed to be running from? You have to fill me in here Ahri." Wait, did Vlad just call the fox by her real name? That was a first for him. To Vlad it didn't have a good ring to it for his tone, at least not yet. Just then, a large explosion came from Vlad's house, and bloodfire was in a panic. Was this Patchwerk?

"Patchwerk is a demon crafted for the safety of the pack; but it went terribly wrong. He is corrupted, and his bloodlust needs to be stabilized. No amount of killing can do it--no one has figured out how to stop him." she explained. She fell forward, groaning. She had forgotten how weak she was, how hurt she had been from the blood pool. Then, of course, the explosion came. It blasted her into a wall, causing her to cry out again. Twas a shame, at one point the fox had been a warrior, a fearsome leader. Now she was reduced to a weak piece of prey... yet, the captor would face dire consequences as well.
From the dust emerged a fox, so gruesome that Ahri cringed. Bits of flesh hung off of his bloody stitches, and each step left a pawprint of blood. His crooked smile looked as if his jaw didn't fit, like it had been broken and fixed the wrong way. Bits of flesh were missing to reveal bone that was drenched in his own Blood. The fox turned to Ahri, tilting his head. Suddenly, he was on top of her, pinning her down so that her back was on the ground and her eyes looked toward the ceiling in surprise.
"Hello there my child... in a squirmish I see. Your father never paid me back for what he had done, locking me away. I will just need to devour the heart of his firstborn." he cackled. He drew a claw and slowly dragged it over the side of her face, opening up a cut. The blood welled out, causing ahri to cry out in fear. Her amber eyes lit up in shock; how had he found her so quickly?
Patchwerk then noticed the second person in his line of sight. His eyes turned to the vampire, looking hungry and feverish. "Well well well... someone took you for his lunch did he. That won't do... her flesh is mine. Time to teach him a lesson, yes." he muttered. Suddenly, he launched at Vlad, cruelly slashing his chest and opening a wound with three claw marks.
"Patchwerk can be stopped momentarily by targeting his precious eyes..." Ahri managed to choke. She rolled so that her stomach now was facing the floor and clawed at the ground, trying to get to the demon fox before he did anymore damage to Vlad. She did this unconsciously; stopping the fox from killing her captor wouldn't benefit her, only Vlad.
Reaching out, she grabbed his tail and shot a burst of arcane energy through his fur. Patchwerk squealed and whirled, sinking his fangs into her arm. His eyes blazed... Patchwerk was angry.
